MM: I Got a Job?!

Weekly electrolysis sessions basically means my face is either gonna be swollen and burned (the days right after electrolysis) or stubbly and tufty (the days leading up to electrolysis) for the next month or so. And yet I’m still gonna put my face on the internet, because… I dunno, reasons. (Those reasons are mostly inertia and habit.)

Regardless, even with the ravages of electrolysis smeared across my face, I somehow interviewed for and was hired as a Sales Muse at A Muse N Games, our favourite local queer-friendly game store. So for three shifts a week I’ll be slinging games and wrangling players into organized play and facing and fronting game boxes on the shelves… and commuting to and from work, and rearranging my family and workout schedules as necessary, and fitting my creative priorities in and around all of that.

To whit! This month, I will:

  • illustrate and publish Wicked Whiskers Chapter Two: The Bearded Ladies of Khaz Ankhor

  • write a chapter of The New Girl at Uskweirs Manor

  • write a chapter of Being Samantha Masters

And this week, I’m gonna:

  • finalize illustrations for The Bearded Ladies of Khaz Ankhor

  • draft (at least part of) a chapter of The New Girl at Uskweirs Manor

That’s what I’m making. What cool queer stuff are you gonna make this week? This month? I’d love to hear about it!
