For the 2017 Procedural Generation Code Jam, AKA #procjam, I created a Map Generator which creates world maps and then a simplistic global history of civilization.
This is not so much a game as a toy; you adjust a couple sliders, hit go, and then watch helplessly as civilizations develop and then kill each other.
The half-baked idea behind it is that one could use the output as a gaming world or inspiration for worldbuilding in fiction. The actual result is so much of a firehouse of procedurally-generated data that it’s hard to sort through it all. But it does look pretty…
