So here’s the project that’s been eating my brain this month, which I’ve finally caved and just folded into my monthly writing schedule: Being Samantha Masters!
This farcical comedy of errors follows Samuel Masters as he attempts to escape his small town upbringing to the Big City. He has a cousin and uncles in the City who are eager to show him around, especially when they find out that Samuel is actually Samantha and never felt safe coming out at home. Of course there’s only one hitch: Samuel isn’t transgender. His big city family just think he is, and he has to go along with it—otherwise he’ll end up back in his hometown.
I’m gonna try something a little different and attach the story, in epub and pdf formats, rather than paste the whole thing into the post here. It certainly looks cleaner and I hope it’s more accessible for you all to read.

This parasitic brainworm, er, novel is an homage-sequel to Being Christina Chase, an internet novel written by Admiral Krunch and posted in 2007-2009. It’s a super fun romp with some great characterization and relationship development.
